OPEN EVENING 2026
This years Open Evening will be held on Thursday 24th September 2026 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Headteacher Talk's will be held at 6.00pm & 7.00pm, no booking required.
Headteacher Tours
Mr Sands will be running Headteacher Tours of The Ongar Academy for new parents/carers & students . Please book using the link below, Tickets are free.
There are only 30 places per tour date so be quick, after this you can add your name to the waiting list and we will let you know if we are able to add another tour.
If you cannot attend a booked place, please cancel in the app or let us know by emailing sbotterell@theongaracademy.org
then we can offer someone else your unwanted place. We ask you to arrive at 9.15 am prompt so we can get you signed in at reception and start the tour at 9.30am. Please bring photo ID.
Tour dates are as follows
- Monday 28th September 2026 at 9.15am
- Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 9.15am
- Thursday 1st October 2026 at 9.15am
- Friday 2nd October 2026 at 9.15am
